This probably indicates some STEMI of the posteromedial wall. It is entirely different from the common reason for ST elevation in aVR: leftward and inferior ST depression vector with a reciprocal ST elevation vector towards aVR.Steve Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08027289511840815536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-549949223388475481.post-90728800951861254002014-12-28T11:26:27.496-06:002014-12-28T11:26:27.496-06:00Steve, what about aVR in the presenting ECG, it ap...Steve, what about aVR in the presenting ECG, it appeared to have 2mm STE at the j point?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13658588389752134458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-549949223388475481.post-48157947591223969372014-12-21T07:53:26.071-06:002014-12-21T07:53:26.071-06:00Sir,I know well that you are an excellent expertis...Sir,I know well that you are an excellent expertise in your field and I access your blog many times daily..But I understood that you meant to reveal how doctors think in such situation so you can help others by correcting their thoughts..Pardon me as English isn't my mother tongue so I didn't express myself correctly. Thanks for being helpful.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-549949223388475481.post-43095116946549906822014-12-20T16:29:11.413-06:002014-12-20T16:29:11.413-06:00I'm saying it as someone who has read the lite...I'm saying it as someone who has read the literature on this for the last 24 years and has a huge amount of experience.Steve Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08027289511840815536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-549949223388475481.post-10181830290552119402014-12-19T15:45:49.673-06:002014-12-19T15:45:49.673-06:00I assume that you are surveying how others think i...I assume that you are surveying how others think in such situation ..But I don't have much experience..I am an young resident..Please consider this as a private message..Thanks for being helpful.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-549949223388475481.post-36275836476672274472014-12-19T14:32:19.567-06:002014-12-19T14:32:19.567-06:00"I think some of this is due to timing" ..."I think some of this is due to timing" - I like that line.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-549949223388475481.post-12224217706492478442014-12-19T13:21:22.055-06:002014-12-19T13:21:22.055-06:00Yes, and it is contrary to much standard wisdom on...Yes, and it is contrary to much standard wisdom on the topic, no?Steve Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08027289511840815536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-549949223388475481.post-41657240027450922972014-12-19T12:48:17.935-06:002014-12-19T12:48:17.935-06:00I have been through a situation like this. And when...I have been through a situation like this. And when the posterior leads showed no STe,I thought I was wrong. Thanks for this tip.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
