Electrical Alternans? From Archives of Internal Medicine.
Here is a nice case from Archives of Internal Medicine. Surprisingly, one can read it without a subscription. For the ECG, page down and click on the "View Large" link.
Thanks for sharing this one. That was really helpful to me. Anyway, if there are any of you in here who are looking to take the American Board of Internal Medicine certification exam then here is a real cool site that I would like to share with you. Just sharing this internal medicine residents' site since I think it might be relevant to people visiting this blog.
Having that clinical history is tough though. Seven years of taking methamphetamine is apparently one of the causative factors that lead to that illness.
DEAR READER: I have loved receiving your comments, but I am no longer able to moderate them. Since the vast majority are SPAM, I need to moderate them all. Therefore, comments will rarely be published any more. So Sorry.
The clinical history in that case certainly leads you down a seemingly obvious path!
